The IT&T Help Desk is the central point of contact between IT&T staff and the user community for network trouble calls. The help desk is staffed (currently 1 person - eventually as many as 3 people) with an IT&T staff member who will be able to assist users with routine software and hardware problems related to pc's, telephones, printers, etc. Complex trouble calls are assigned to field technicians for dispatch. Troubles related to network connectivity (voice and data connectivity) for entire building locations will be immediately dispatched for resolution. Users with routine troubles can expect to receive a status within 8 business hours.
