6/16 - Smoke from the Dog Head Fire will impact Santa Fe over the next few days/weeks. Go to the NMDH web-site for more information on the impact of smoke in the atmosphere.
6/16 - SF Water Dept in conjunction with SFFD will be performing various fire hydrant flow tests to collect data for an upcoming ISO review. Some residents and businesses may experience cloudy water during the testing.

Fire Chief Erik Litzenberg
Chief Litzenberg is a native of Santa Fe and has been with the City of Santa Fe Fire Department for over 18 years. He is a graduate of the National Fire Academy's Executive Fire Officer Program, the Center for Homeland Defense and Security's Executive Leadership Program, the Leadership Santa Fe Class of 2013, and a member of the Leadership New Mexico Class of 2015. He holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from the University of New Mexico and is working on his Doctorate in Sports Administration.
Chief Litzenberg is also the Chairman of the International Association of Fire Chiefs (IAFC) Wildland Fire Policy Committee and an alternate member of the Wildland Fire Leadership Council.
